Research

In addition to directing The Shakespeare Prison Project, Dr. Jonathan Shailor conducts research on the effectiveness of Shakespeare, prison theatre, and the arts and humanities as approaches to education in corrections.  Several of his articles and book chapters are available as downloads (below).  Dr. Shailor is also the editor of Performing New Lives: Prison Theatre (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2010) (video preview, right).
